Fresh Pressed Edit / Vol 51
Here's everything we loved for the month of March! This post is a little shorter than our typical edits, but here's what we've loved!
How is it already April?
I’ve skipped another month because I’ve been experiencing a bit of writer’s block, lately. While my husband and I have gone places, tried new coffee shops in our area, and gone for a few walks on the days that the weather has allowed us to, overall, things have been really busy for a while. I think I am also feeling the itch to maybe change something up on our blog such as our web design or branding colors, but I truly love it, so I’m considering maybe just some minor tweaks and additions, which I think has also resulted in a bit of a creative block for me. I may write a longer post in the future diving a little deeper into the writer’s block I’ve been experiencing and what are some of the reasons for it, but as a result, we haven’t posted here in a little over a month.
We have some posts scheduled that are going live on the blog and my husband may be writing a post reviewing a new-to-us coffee shop we’ve tried and have been to multiple times since because it’s that good.
In other news, I’m seeing a nutritionist for the first time ever - something I have been wanting to do for a little while. There’s nothing wrong, thank God, but I realized after talking with my doctor that I truly don’t know how much I’m supposed to be eating (or not eating) to sustain or lose, because I’ve struggled with disordered eating most of my life so far. I may disclose in a blog post some of the meatier details, but that would be a much longer post for another time. I am looking forward to getting a better understanding of the nutritional needs of my body, regardless of whether I am intending to gain, lose, or maintain weight and hopefully develop a healthier relationship with food.
Enough of my rambling, however. Let’s get into this month’s edit!

Shaping My Son into a Cultured Icon.
These cookies sound so good right now and just in time for Easter. I may be bringing this to the potluck this year.
We’ve been thinking a lot about the Montessori method when it comes to play and early learning, so I’ve been watching a few videos and reading a few blogs for some ideas for activities for toddler activities. This is an old post, but I found some of these ideas to be helpful and affordable.
I am still obsessed with Emma Chamberlain’s house. She truly leaned into the style of the home and everything works so cohesively.
I loved this video of Keke Palmer’s podcast episode with Demi Lovato and how she spoke on some of the moments of her life growing up in the spotlight.
I love the beaded necklaces are making a comeback. Fun accessories such as these are such a fun way to implement pops of color in your wardrobe.
If we ever won the lottery, there would be signs. How luxurious is this Japanese train?
Is it Aritzia? Is it Ref? Nope, it’s the Gap brands.
We recently started listening to the podcast “Love Trapped” which has been a pretty interesting listen so far. My husband didn’t watch The Bachelor, but he has still enjoyed hearing about what happened so far.
I’ve been thinking a lot about this strawberry white mocha latte.
I started painting my nails again after finding out about a non-toxic nail polish company, Olive & June, that’s 15-free! I just started using them, so I can’t comment just yet on the longevity of the polish but painting my nails is such a simple thing that’s boosted my serotonin levels recently.
Snapped this while out at dinner with family.
How cute are these to-go cups? I purchased them from Ross.
Cupcakes for Easter and Resurrection Sunday! I added Cadbury eggs to storebrought cupcakes.
I love this lamp! It would look so nice in our living room.
I am clearly a sucker for chinoserie prints such as the one on this garden stool.
How cute is this dress for a toddler?
